Valentine’s Day now Galentine’s Day. You haven’t heard? Yes, there is a day for girl friends the day before V-day all to celebrate friendship. You can salute your friends all year long your lover too. I’m not knocking it but I just see it for what it is, another way to make money…CAPITALISM.

What if you lived in a world where the images that you see on television, print ads, banners on that website you frequent didn’t “appear”? Imagine there were no algorithms or coding to target your spending habits. Take away the billboards, flyers, vehicles wrapped in advertisements. Benches with slogans, hashtags for this or that, your favorite celeb as a poster child of your latest craving. Oh, commercialism. The best friend to your subconscious. The main course to your appetite. The ex you can’t seem to get enough of, even though they’re bad for you. Commercialism at it’s finest is now. All over. Saturating your life with it’s images so it can gain, CAPITALISM.
