Panama is a delight, I was pleasantly surprised it offered both big city + historic vibes.  

Casco Viejo, also known as Casco Antiguo or San Felipe in the historic section of Panama City. What a relic + newer developments were right by old ones it was quite interesting. It’s both touristy + local. 

You have to see the marvel that is Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal, a human engineering system that connects the Atlantic to the Pacific that allows water vessels to pass through. Panama is home to one of the “locks” in Central America.
