Hands down the safest place in the Caribbean I’ve visited + boy are the people nice. I went for my 40th birthday + it had the right number of offerings, beaches, activities, shopping + restaurants.
Bridgetown, Barbados. Eventually taken over by the British + a hub for trading often the 1st port of call for ships on the Trans-Atlantic from Africa. Named after the bridge that was referred to as The Indian Bridge/Indian Bridgetown, now on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The Chattel Village Holetown, Barbados in Saint James Parish. Super cute + colorful shops with crafts, clothing, souvenirs, cigars + more. Great place to leave with something signature from the island.
Oistins is a town in Christ Church Parish. Home of the Friday Fish Fry. We went + was like a fun night time festival.
