Beautiful countryside tucked in the Tuscan Region of Italy. The most peaceful part of my trip and extremely beautiful, the ride from heavy populated Florence to the vineyards of the country were delightful. Wineries were quaint and in plenty, well-spaced out some of which included a bed & breakfast. They were generous with the flights at each vineyard and I was tipsy by noon! I mean you haven’t been wine tasting until you’ve done it in Italy! You’ll have to rent a car or join a tour for this excursion, I was lucky enough to have a local Firenze resident as a tour guide. The little towns of Panzano and Greve are totally walkable and like real life Italian paintings, I can’t begin to describe how amazing it is. The photos won’t do any justice to physically being there…it’s a must do.
