Hawaii is a special place, not only is it beautiful it was my 50 of 50 states to visit. Yes, I’ve been to all 50 US States + that’s spent time in all 50 baby. It was extra special because I went in 2020 during Covid-19. Honestly, Hawaii is magical + I’m not sure the mainland is worthy of having The Islands (and I’ve only been to O’ahu) as a state. However, it is on my list as #2 of 50 states, California just has the maximum offerings for me. 

I’d have to say that I really enjoyed Honolulu. I was blocks from Waikiki Beach, restaurants + shopping. Take Biki, the local bike service if you stay in the Waikiki area, it’s much cheaper than Uber or Lyft. Do a tour or water activity + do yourself a favor, don’t miss out on North Shore, great beaches + cool beach community vibes. Hawaii is so a good look.
