I didn’t get a chance to see Smokey the Bear but I had a fantastic time with my family in the Smokey Mountains! It’s really family oriented with plenty of things to entertain oneself. We enjoyed the shops & tram ride up the mountains in Gatlinburg and the super fun amusement park like attractions in Pigeon Forge (Nascar Go-Cart, Wonderworks are fun!). If you’re in the East Tennessee area this is a stop you’ll want to make.

Stay: Westgate Resorts and Spa nestled in the hills between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The friendly staff, secluded rooms and resort amenities were a plus.
