This stretch of land in Mexico is on along Caribbean coastline and home to Isla Mujeres, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel + Tulum. Honestly, they are all really nice escapes from the US. I’ve been to Cancun, Playa del Carmen + Isla Mujeres. I have to say that I liked Playa the best, very touristy + lively with the beach as the backdrop. Maya has become really popular in the last 20 years since my first visit + it just keeps getting better. Tulum is on my list.
