Home of hilly neighborhoods, lots of fog and the famous Golden Gate Bridge San Francisco is a must see place to visit. It makes the “bay area” worth mentioning and enough to think about skipping a SoCal visit…well maybe not. However, my visits to SF have been short but fun, I love the hills. Yes, I’ve walked up them and down is better. I shopped a bit, walked and even made it to a bar somewhere in the city…it was cool. I have yet to visit Alcatraz Island, though on a clear day you can see it from the Golden Gate Bridge. Didn’t hop on a cable car, they were pretty crowded but nice to admire. San Fran is fun, must visit city.
