This is the first blog of 2017 and I took a good day to think about what to write. What have I learned in the last week or so, what stands out? What have I done, accomplished according to my standards and progress? I’ll admit I have been very frustrated lately. Growing weary of life’s most triumphant moment so far in my life, when will it be my turn? THE RESOLUTION OF NEW…
The end of one year and beginning of another. It’s a time to reflect and then subsequently change. And as I looked back to see what 2016 taught me then looked even deeper to figure out what I want 2017 to be like it became clear, I was frustrated. I allowed my circumstances to override my happiness. All of the hard work and not much to show from it. Though the seeds that I planted and continue to water have not produced eatable fruit I still have a healthy tree. It was then I realized that in order to have a new year full of resolutions of the past you must first regulate your thinking. Remain positive and optimistic of your future and the fruit you will bare. You cannot change what needs fixing if you don’t change your mind, THE RESOLUTION OF NEW.
Quote: “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.” Socrates
Tip: Keep going. Even when it seems like nothing is changing + you’d rather give up. The hard work will pay off. Listen to motivational tapes, podcasts, playlist on YouTube but don’t give up, shift your energy.
