One of the few highlights of my week was a tour of a cavern in the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas. It had been decades since I had been in one and it is amazing what is BENEATH THE SURFACE.
Guided through a steep moist tunnel for an hour in southern Texas on a warm day, I really had no idea what I was in store for. It was breathtaking. The deeper into the cave the more beautiful the formations. Hundreds of years of erosion, each formation unique. And like you and I the deeper you go the real beauty is discovered. The deeper, the closest to your soul you get. Your soul is the force that drives you if you let it. The more you dig and go to the depths of your core the more appreciation you’ll find for what God created in you. Every formation a marvelous sight, each step closer to a “whole” wonderful you. Do you know how beautiful you are? The discovery of God’s special formations, the true you lies BENEATH THE SURFACE.
Quote: “You are like the ocean, pretty enough on the surface, but dive down into your depths, you’ll find beauty most people never see.” Unknown
Tip: Take time to know the true essence of your soul. Who you are makes a world of difference in who you become. Knowing you should never be on the back burner.
