Coping, dealing with, going through the process, “going through the storm” as some would articulate, either way you put it “said situation” doesn’t go away overnight. It takes time to work through a “trial”, a change, an adjustment. In some cases it’s the natural progression of life and sometimes stuff just happens. We have to look at the learning and growth experience before us and learn what we need to learn so that we can move forward.
I figured I’d do something different and post quotes from others on the subject of Faith. All you need is just a little bit of faith, right? Hope you enjoy & take something from the quotes…pass them along.
“If you can’t fly, then run. If you can’t run, then walk. If you can’t walk, then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward”. —Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Worry looks around. Regret looks back. Faith looks forward”. —Unknown
“Faith includes noticing the mess, the emptiness and discomfort, and letting it be there until some light returns”. —Anne LaMott
“Faith is not simply a patience which passively suffers until the storm is past. Rather, it is a spirit which bears things…with blazing serene hope”. —Corazon Aquino
“Faith is not something to grasp, it is a state to grow into”. —Mahatma Gandhi
“Back of every creation, supporting it like an arch, is faith. Enthusiasm is nothing: It comes and goes. But if one believes, then miracles occur”. —Henry Miller
“Faith is what makes life bearable, with all it’s tragedies and ambiguities and sudden, startling joys”. —Madeleine L’Engle
“It is in the act of offering our hearts in faith that something in us transforms…proclaiming that we no longer stand on the sidelines but are leaping directly into the center of our lives, our truth, our full potential”. —Sharon Salzberg
“Nothing is impossible with God”. —Luke 1:37
Tip: When you’re going through a difficult time try taking the focus off of you and pour positive energy into someone else. Do something nice for someone else, it’s extremely rewarding and can instantly change your energy. Plus you’ll realize that life really isn’t that bad.
