Resilience: The power or ability to return to original form, position after being bent, compressed or stretched. Ability to recover from illness, depression, adversity or the like.
Look around you…think about those people you surround yourself with, those you work with, the individuals you see on TV, why not look in the mirror and you’ll see forms of resilience everywhere! Life sure as heck isn’t easy, most of us (especially the one’s that have lived a little) have overcome something, we’ve pushed and move forward to “bounce-back” from adversity, we’ve stretched our limits physically and mentally sometimes against all odds. We’ve had goals and dreams that got put on hold because of a life challenge…but we were able to pick up and move forward! We were RESILIENT! So if you just happen to be in a place were you feel stretched, compressed or bent and are facing some sort of adversity…look around and be motivated by resiliency everywhere! Keep pushing, keep thriving!
