I’m no “foodie” but I do enjoy eating a good meal, I just won’t pay a ton of money for it! I haven’t eaten pork or beef since 1999. I’m pretty good at eating healthy but not too strict as I fully partake in cheat days. As this is a place for sharing I’m not going to leave you pork OR beef-eaters out, I’ve got “foodie” pals and we’ll keep you abreast on some awesome restaurants good eats and cool recipes you should try. Healthy Latin food, so healthy I ate green chicken sausage…well green brown (so good)! This restaurant has good eats with a Latin flare! If brown rice pancakes aren’t healthy then I don’t know what is. Gluten-free, tofu, whole grains…if it’s healthy they’re sure to have it. They even have an all-natural juice bar. The atmosphere is cool at the Culver City location, one of three in SoCal…sorry everyone else. And let me not forget, it’s cheap too!visit cafe vida.

Bison, the only red meat I’ll eat! Yes, it’s high in protein and at Ted’s it’s the best thing on the menu. My only exception to eating chicken, turkey and fish is bison. I have it once maybe twice a year at TMG in Atlanta. Founded by Ted Turner as a healthy alternative to red meat, it’s said to be higher in protein than chicken, rich in flavor and taste better than a beef burger…all burgers!
